Melissa Fergusson-Vogl, of our Poulsbo office, is a Commercial Risk Advisor at EHL Insurance and has been with our company since 2004.

Melissa is a graduate of Bainbridge Island High School with honors. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Rhetoric and Media Studies and graduated with honors from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. In addition, she has earned a Master of Arts in Teaching and graduated with honors from the University of Portland. She holds her certificate in General Insurance from the Insurance Institute of America and is currently licensed in Property, Casualty, Life and Disability in the state of Washington. Melissa has her CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) and is working on her CRM (Certified Risk Manager) designation.

An active member of our community, Melissa belongs to the Kingston Chamber of Commerce, Washington Restaurant Association, MOMS of Poulsbo, Kitsap Insurance Professionals, National Association of Insurance Women, and the National Association of Working Women. In addition to these memberships, Melissa also volunteers with the Gordon Elementary PTA and the annual charity EHL & Fred Hill Materials Acorn Classic Golf Tournament.

Melissa lives in Kingston with her daughter and foster son, loving black lab and energetic kitty. Melissa enjoys the company of her close-knit family whom live in the nearby communities of Poulsbo and Bainbridge Island. In her free time she enjoys cooking with her children and experimenting with new foods, camping, hiking, traveling, clamming, and trying new things.
