In the year 2000, Chubb Insurance began hosting the "Chubb Charity Challenge" golf tournament to raise money for charity. In the last 12 years, the nationwide tournament has raised nearly $10,000,000 for charities coast to coast.
Each agency that participates is able to raise funds for their local charity of choice. This year's tournament allowed EHL to generate nearly $400 for the United Way of Kitsap County.
The United Way of Kitsap County's mission is to provide leadership and support to identify community needs and leverage resources to create measurable, positive, and lasting change in people's lives throughout Kitsap County.
September 2011

Ten years ago, Brian Edgren from Edgren Insurance, and Todd Lemmon and Rich Hecker from JRO Longnecker Insurance, joined into a partnership and created EHL Insurance. Jeff Ogard joined as a principle and the 227 NW Lindvig Way office was remodeled to accommodate the entire staff.
Since then, EHL has acquired Shold Insurance in Sequim and Ralston and Ralston Insurance in Port Angeles. We currently have 27 full time employees in three offices.
President Brian Edgren says "In the past ten years we’ve been able to put together a group of wonderfully dedicated and hard working insurance professionals here at EHL. With everyone facing serious economic challenges these days, our staff continues to work diligently with our valued clients to provide the best solutions to their insurance and risk management needs. Everyone here at EHL, without exception, gains tremendous energy through developing and maintaining strong relationships with our loyal clients and we are look forward to maintaining this emphasis for years to come!"
Join us to celebrate on Thursday, September 15 at Nelson Park (right next to our EHL office in Poulsbo on Lindvig) from 2-6 pm. Hamburger, hotdogs and fun! EHL Employees welcome the community to participate in a dessert contest (bring your favorite creation to share).
We look forward to celebrating with our clients, our families, our friends, and our communities.
